Patchouli, Aceh
This particular Patchouli comes from southern Sumatra. It is the sister of our delicious North Sumatra Patchouli which produces the worlds very finest Patchouli oils. It is what Provence is for Lavender. The “gold standard” for perfumers and Patchouli lovers alike. The aroma of this southern vintage beauty is sweet and delicate. Lighter than her Northern cousin but well rounded with hints of toasted nuts imbued in chocolatey-musk-earth notes. This is a “must have” perfume staple. Patchouli is a reputed aphrodisiac and blends exceptionally well with many oils including Jasmine, Bergamot, Rose, Cedar wood, Frankincense, Lemon, Lavender, Ylang- ylang and Petitgrain.

Primary constituents: Sesquiterpene hydrocarbons & sesquiterpene alcohols. Blends well with Bergamot, Rose, Palmarosa, Geranium, Lavender, Atlas Cedar & Ylang-Ylang.
