Lime, Cold Pressed

This organic essential oil of Lime is cold pressed from the zest of unripened fruit. It’s zesty sparkling fruit aroma brings a summer smile of happiness and joy.  Use it in cooking, massage blends, perfume creations, up-lifting room sprays, etc. It adds a wonderful sparkle to many blends at very minute amounts. It is moderately photo-sensitizing so please avoid rushing out in the sun with it on your skin. Try our distilled Lime if you’re worried about using it out and about with the UV rays. Distilled Lime is not photo-toxic. The cold-pressed Lime is more zesty in flavour and aroma. Both work splendid though in our mind for many different aromatic arrangements. Try some Lime with Black Pepper in a sauce at the end of cooking or in a heavenly summer surprise with some Grapefruit, Coriander and Vetivert. Delicious in sorbets, cocktails and sauces. Adds an interesting, up-lifting note to many types of chypre fragrances. Key Lime and coconut cream pie anyone?
