Ruh Khus

Rare Ruh Khus is THE Vetiver for all you Vetivert enthusiasts, fans and lovers. Also known as “wild green Vetivert” or “sacred Vetivert”, Ruh Khus is propagated by seed & has been hydro-distilled in traditional copper stills for a millennium in Uttar Pradesh and other regions of Northern India. This is the true  “Oil of Tranquility”.

Unlike our Haitain Vetivert, our Ruh Khus is a dark, emerald green colour that has been distilled slowly for 24 hours from roots at least 2 yrs. old, then left to carefully age for several months. The aroma is at first very similar to our deep, earthy Haitain Vetivert but gets more complex in the dry out. Our Ruh Khus has an intense lush, deep, earthy-sweet aroma that blends finely with all fragrant florals such as Rose, Jasmine, Tuberose, Frangipani, Lotus, Cistus, etc. A perfumers MUST!
