Cedarwood, Atlas ~France

First, I need to sadly inform those who do not know, Atlas Cedar has been declared endangered for several years now and we must start exploring alternatives. This specific batch from Provence has ben ethically harvested, certified by SIMPLES and is very rare and limited. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. The “special reserve”Atlas Cedarwood from Morocco we have in stock has been finely aged for many years now & is running frightfully low. Of course, it can never be replaced. Both specimens are to my nose the gold standard of our beloved and cherished  Atlas Cedar. This Provence Cedarwood portrays complex nuances not present in the Moroccan variety, which exquisitely reflects its growing habitat. Truly the finest. Quite literally irreplaceable. Sweet, rich, balsamic, soft & woody.
