Eucalyptus Gully Gum
Eucalyptus Gully Gum is considered one of the gentlest Eucalyptus oils. The perfect essential oil for diffusing to purify the air or used in the sauna. It also makes a wonderful cleaning agent and is good in massage blends as an anti inflammatory for sore achy muscles. This is the Eucalyptus that most of us go “Oh yes, Eucalyptus!” A familiar old time friend.
Description
Eucalyptus Gully Gum: (Eucalyptus smithii) ~ leaves Origin: AUS Method: Steam distilled from certified organic leaves Properties: Anti-infectious, antibacterial, antiviral, anticatarrhal and mucolytic, expectorant, antitussive, anti-inflammatory. Primary Constituents: Terpene oxide : 1,8 cineole (75,51 %) Monoterpenes : α-pinene + α-thujene (7,70 %), limonene (6,38 %), para-cymene (2,34 %) Monoterpenol : α-terpineol (2,17 %)
High 1,8 cineol content. Avoid if asthmatic. Respectful caution with small children is advised with all essential oils that contain a high 1,8 cineol content.
Blends well with other Eucalyptus oils, MQV, Tea Tree, Lemon and Lemon Myrtle.
