Saro
Saro is another great anti viral essential oil from Madagascar with a brand spectrum of anti bacterial activity. It is uplifting, energizing and cleansing. A very powerful anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral that is gentle enough to use topically in skin care for personal hygiene, body care and massage, yet strong enough for maintaining a clean environment in the diffuser or added to cleaning products to kill germs. Saro has a reputed special affinity for the respiratory system. 1-2 drops of Saro in honey will soothe sore throats and help suppress coughs while acting as a gentle decongestant and expectorant. A must essential oil during cold and flu season. Nice clean scent that blends well with other oxides.

Mandravasarotra, Saro (Cinnamosma fragrans)~ leaf Origin: MAD Properties: Antiviral; broad spectrum antibacterial; antifungal; anti-parasitic; anti-catarrhal; expectorant; immunomodulator; antispasmodic; analgesic. Primary Constituents: Terpene oxide (1,8 cineole) Monoterpenes: (limonene; β-pinene , sabinene , α-pinene. Blends well with Tea Tree, Cajeput, MQV, Ravintsara and Lemon. Avoid first trimester of pregnancy.
