The pink salt of the Himalayans is thought to be the purest salt in the world. Known for its beautiful crystal appearance and medicinal qualities, pink Himalayan salt has been known as the “King of Salt” and the “Essence of Life”. Pure, hand-mined,  washed by hand and sun dried salt, found naturally occurring deep inside the pristine Himalayan Mountains of northern Pakistan. The salt is considered virtually free of pollutants or toxins, as it is derived from ancient sea salt deposits that formed during the Jurassic era over 250,000 million years ago. These multi-hued crystals are a natural full spectrum salt that range in colour from sheer white to varying shades of pink and red due to its high iron and mineral content. These clean, pristine crystals are naturally unrefined “gourmet food grade” – the highest quality available. They contain an abundance of 84 trace elements including iron that are nutritionally essential for maintaining healthy functioning of the cells, nerve conduction, digestion, absorption and elimination of waste products. It has life generating power for both the body and the nervous system and can be used in many gourmet food recipes, spa applications and detoxification regiments. Pink Himalayan salt tastes & feels like no other salt on Earth!
