Peppermint ~Williamette

This fine Peppermint essential oil from the Willamette Valley of Oregon in the Pacific Northwest is unlike other Peppermint oils we carry. Maybe closer to the Yakima valley Peppermint we used to carry but not quite exactly. Williamette is less fruity. More green. Definitely not sweet like our Indian Peppermint. More fresh. This Peppermint is produced by a family operated distillery in Oregon which also caters to the tea industry. Its bouquet is closer to the actual fresh growing herb. The aroma is green, cool, smooth and minty with a distinctive soft-grassy like undertone which makes it super unique & refreshing in a variety of applications without being too overpoweringly minty or sweet. More soft. Really nice in all kinds of culinary delights from baked goods & smoothies to meats & jellies, refreshing summer mock tails and more!
